Product DescriptionThe DSC PG9985 Wireless Flood Detector is a fully supervised PowerG-enabled sensor designed to provide early warning of water leakage or flooding in residential and commercial environments. It features a six foot (1.8 m) water probe cable that allows the transmitter to be mounted higher on the wall while the probe sits at floor level or another critical location. A visible link-quality LED on the device ensures optimal placement during installation while the probe is supervised to detect disconnection or malfunction. With an expected battery life of up to eight years under typical use, this detector is ideal for basements, mechanical rooms, yachts, holiday homes or any application where water intrusion poses a threat. Compatible with DSC PowerSeries Neo, PowerSeries Pro and Qolsys panels the PG9985 provides reliable, long-range encrypted wireless communication with commercial-grade performance and minimal maintenance.
